Billings 25.1 Release Notes

  • Enabled shifts on Equipment rates – You can now define two different rates per unit of measure for equipment. As a result, you will notice changes to the time sheet screen to include a new column with the two shift types in the drop-down list. ClosedRead more

    The new shift columns enable the expansion of the current rate table functionality to allow for a shift based rate values to be entered against equipment. The shifts now show in the rate table as columns, similar to how they are shown for Personnel.

  • Enabled a third shift for Labor rates – You can now define an additional rate per unit of measure. The new shift is called Other.

  • Column Display Options – You can now show or hide columns in Rate table tabs by selecting the Column Display Options button from the ribbon menu. ClosedRead more

    The Column Display Options button lets you show or hide columns by going to Rate Tables > Selecting a rates table, and then selecting or deselecting each shift column from the Column Display Options button from the ribbon menu. By default, at least one item needs to be selected. If all items are deselected, the drop-down will default to show day shift for Personnel, or Type 1 for Equipment. Previously, the Customer Class Code and Rate Code fields show/hide view options were tied together, they have now been separated. For more information, see Creating a new rate table.

  • Display Employee/Equipment billing class and rate codes – The Display Employee/Equipment billing class and rate codes option found in InEight Plan and InEight Progress under Daily planning time configuration settings now integrates projects with Billing classifications. ClosedRead more

    When the toggle is set to On, the labor and equipment billing classes can be used on the Daily Plans to override the default Billing Classification in Billings. To configure this option, in Billings, click the Publish billing class button in the Billings menu ribbon on the Project that you wish to use the billings classes on.
