Mail Statistics

The Mail widget shows the numbers of mail items for each of the following:

Statistic

Explanation

New mail

Mail items received, but not yet read.

New mail - overdue

Received mail items not yet read and their Response Required dates have passed.

Inbox Items with a response outstanding

Mail items received, that have not been responded to (as defined via Responded Date).

Inbox Items with a response outstanding - overdue

Mail items received, that have not been responded to and the response is overdue (as defined via the Response Required by and Responded Dates).

Inbox Items with status Outstanding

Mail items received, that currently have a Status = Outstanding. Additional Status value statistics can be displayed if required

Sent items with a response outstanding

Mail items sent, that have not been responded to (as defined via the Responded Date).

Sent Items with a response outstanding - overdue

Mail items sent, that have not been responded to and where the response is overdue (as defined via the Response Required by and Responded Dates).

Sent Items with Status Outstanding

Mail items sent, that currently have a Status = Outstanding. Additional Status value statistics can be displayed if required

To review

Mail items prepared by others and submitted for your review.

Returned from review

Mail items submitted for review that have now been reviewed and are ready for sending.

Click on any of the statistics to go directly to the mailbox with the relevant mails displayed in the respective register.

Drill down on any of the mail statistics by mail type using the arrow symbol to the left of the statistic description.

  • If you have access to multiple projects, the number of new mails, outstanding mails, and mails for review for each project are also listed both at the Project Selection window after login, and against each project in the Project drop down list in the top left corner of the Dashboard.

  • For users with access to Company and/or Department Mail, the mail statistics reflect the user’s last setting to Hide or Show duplicate mails as set at the Mail Inbox.

  • By default, the mail widget will only display a few links. Users can view all the mail related links by clicking the More link in the mail widget.

  • There is also a graphical widget relating to mail that displays in a histogram the numbers of outstanding and overdue mails by mail type based on either Personal or Company mail. Click on a histogram bar to view the relevant mails.
