InEight Mail Process

The typical process for sending and receiving InEight mail is:

  1. Users create and send outgoing mail using the InEight Document (DOC) Mail module.

  1. Recipients using InEight DOC, receive a notification via their corporate email system with a hyperlink to the mail within DOC.

  2. Recipients who are registered as External Contacts in DOC (ie no login access) receive a copy of the mail itself.

  3. InEight users read and respond (reply/forward) to received mails from within DOC.

  4. External Contacts reply by Email. This mail comes back to the sender via the DOC Unregistered mail folder.
