General Settings

After a project has been created, some of the project settings can be modified by administrators when needed. General settings can be found by clicking the General tab in project settings.

See the table below for a description of each setting:

Setting	Description
Project No	The project number can be any combination of letters and numbers up to a maximum of 12 characters. If the Project No needs to be changed, please contact InEight Support.
Project Title	The title of the project.
Project Header	The text that appears in the title bar of the project.
Project Manager selection	The Project Manager of the hosting company.
Project Director selection	The Project Director of the hosting company.
Project Image	The static image displayed on the Dashboard (if selected).
Time Zone	The selected time zone for the project which is used to date and stamp all items
Remarks	The text that appears under the project summary on the Dashboard.
Notification Interval	Select the days, hours and minutes for the frequency at which the system will send email notifications relating to each event type in InEight Document. For example, if you were to receive 10 mail items over one hour, you would receive one email notifying you of all 10 mail items.
Enable IP Address restriction	Lets you allow or deny access by IP address to Document. When you select the Enable IP Address restriction check box, the Allow and Deny radio buttons and the IP Addresses field are enabled. To allow only certain IP addresses, select the Allow radio button, and then enter the allowed IP addresses. To deny certain IP addresses, select the Deny radio button and then enter the denied IP addresses.
Add a prefix in the subject line to all notifications	Lets you add a prefix, that you can specify in the field below, to all notifications from the project. The prefix is not applied to custom notifications.
User password expires in	Select the number of days after which users will be asked to change their password.
Document review cut-off time	Select the cut-off time for reviews.
