Assigning Access to Documents

Project or company administrators can give access to a specific document or document format. This ability is also available to users within a security group that has this security access function allowed.

To assign access to a document:

  1. Select the document in theRegister.

  2. Click Actions.

  3. In the Admin menu, select Assign document access.

  4. Select the company.

  5. Select the contact and click the arrow icon.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Select the formats you want to the document to be available in.

  8. Click Finish.

The option to allow users to automatically get access to future revisions can be removed from the system completely if required. Contact InEight for details.
