Duplicating Forms

You can duplicate a form to create a new form or a new revision.

Duplicate a form

Summary: Duplicate a form when you want to save time creating revisions or new forms. You can duplicate a form from the Forms register or from a form's Details page. Revisions are useful for resubmission or where repeat tasks are being completed with minor updates.

Considerations: If you are starting from the Forms register, select a form before step 1.

  1. Click Actions and select Duplicate.

  2. Select either:

    1. New Form. A new form with the same type is duplicated with the header information copied over. The number of the new form is the next sequential number for the form combination (for example, if the last form RFI was QAS-RFI-0004, this form is QAS-RFI-0005).

    2. New Revision. A new form with the same type is duplicated with the header information copied over. The number of the new form is based on the original form combination (for example, if the last form RFI was QAS-RFI-0004, this form is QAS-RFI-0004.01).

  3. Update the form details.

  4. Click Complete Action.
