The Project Announcements tile shows internal announcements for the project team. Project administrators can add Document release announcements, reminders, and other information to make them readily accessible from the dashboard.
Project announcements remain on the tile until the project administrator removes them. The tile shows the most recent announcement first. You can use the page numbers and arrows to view older announcements.
Summary: Add an announcement to the Project Announcements tile to communicate small items to your project team.
Considerations: You must be a project administrator to add, edit, or delete project announcements. These instructions assume that the Project Announcements tile has already been added to the dashboard. For more information about adding dashboard tile widgets, see Using Dashboard Tiles.
From the New menu, select Announcement. The New announcement dialog box opens.
Enter the subject, and then select where to publish the announcement: Document, the TenderDocs portal, or both.
Enter the announcement text. You can use the formatting tools to create the look and feel you want for your message. If you prefer to work in a larger space, you can click Maximize window.
When you are done writing your announcement, click the Publish button. The new message shows in the Project Announcements tile.
What's next: If you are a project administrator, the message shows in the tile with Edit and Delete buttons. To edit, click the Edit button. The Edit announcement shows, and you can edit and republish the message.
