Introduction to Office Integration

 

Integrating with Microsoft Office lets you work with Office documents with InEight Document. You can open Office applications directly from the Documents register to conduct a collaborative edit without having to go through a review workflow. The resulting document is a new revision or version.

If the document requires a review, you can launch an external review workflow. All actions related to the document completed in the relevant Office application are then saved back into the Document system without the need to download and re-upload the document through the web interface.
