Canceling Transmittals

You can cancel a transmittal from the Sent Items folder in the Transmittals Register.

Cancel a transmittal

Summary: Cancel a transmittal when you want to remove the record from users' inboxes and prevent further actions by recipients.

  1. To cancel a transmittal, click the Module drop-down menu.

  2. In the Transmittals menu, click Sent Items.

  3. Click Actions, and then select Cancel.

  4. Click Yes.

  5. Enter a reason for cancelling the transmittal.

  6. Select whether you want to notify the recipient(s).

  7. Click Confirm cancellation.

  • The cancelled by, cancelled on, and cancelled reason are shown in the detailed view of the canceled transmittal.

  • Transmittals can only be cancelled by the user who created them or by other users in the same company or department depending on granted permissions.

  • You can use an API to list canceled transmittal items.
