Welcome to InEight Document.

This video demonstrates how to create users.

First, click the address book, contacts, then click here.

Start by selecting the company.

If the company has not been created, click the plus icon to do so. Enter all the required details, including name, ID, and email address.

To create an external contact, ensure this box is ticked then save.

However to create a registered user who can log into InEight document, make sure the external contact box is unticked then save.

Ones saved, select this tab to assign the user to a mail security group. The security group defines which mail types and modules users can access and to what degree.

Based on the settings, this user will have personal access to mail, full access to documents, and company access to transmittals.

Back in this section, use the Actions button to send users their login details, or change user preferences. These options are also available from the main contact screen where you'll also find functions such as deactivating contacts, restricting access to other users, and defining review teams and roles.

Lastly, from here, you can import contacts from other InEight document projects or use the import template found here.
