Welcome to InEight Document.

This video demonstrates how to customize mail status settings.

From user preferences, choose the mail status tab to set up rules to automatically update the mail status.

If you are copied or blind copied into mail, to close when the originator closes it out. Or to close when another company recipient closes it out.

Click here, to allow senders to see your mail status.

Although users from your company may also be able to see your mail status even if this option is not ticked.

Remember these settings can impact other users on your project. So check with an administrator before making any changes.

You can display mails statistics in the dashboard by status.

This example would give you quick access via the mail widget to all outstanding mail.

Automatic reminders can be set here for mail by status value. This example will result in an automatic reminder every three days regarding outstanding mail where my response is overdue.

From the mail options tab, get mail to automatically close out when you respond or prompt you to do so.

If you have access to multiple InEight instances, you may want to apply to all projects.

Click Save once finished.

Although by default, you can only modify your own status. There are several ways of saying other uses mail statuses.

Firstly, depending on your project settings, you may be able to see the thread status here for a mail conversation.

This is the status of the author of the original mail in the thread.

If you have company level mail access, you can also run mail reports at a company level.

This will list the mail status of internal senders and recipients.
