After initiating the run Report Execution, a new tab appears with the SSRS report. All the reports come with a standard pain of functionality to perform certain actions on the executed report. On top of the executed report is the parameter pain. This pain is used to control the filters to display on the report.
In this video, we'll guide you through the InEight Document Archive. We'll cover what the archive contains, the various types available, and the key limitations.
Understanding the InEight Document Archive
The InEight Document Archive is a comprehensive data extraction of all records, files, photos, and documents uploaded by a customer and its users during a project. Each customer receives one complimentary archive, typically requested after project completion.
Information Visibility in Archives
This archive contains only the information that was visible to that company when the project was live. Additional archives are available at a flat rate cost and must be approved by the customer.
Types of InEight Document Archives
There are two types of InEight Document Archive. The standard archive includes a full copy of the company's project data in an SQL lite format accessed via the TeamBinder archive application. It's a read only interface that provides all the same features found on the web version. Reports and filters are available, and access is company wide. All previously accessible modules and registers are included. Multi user access is supported via shared storage. No login is required — just launch and view.
Exploring the Live Archive
The Live Archive builds on the standard archive by linking to a live project. This version is typically used by projects or teams with limited Internet access where on site updates and file access are needed. It operates on a monthly subscription and allows manual or scheduled data syncs. This version also requires server or network storage for multi user access. Initial setup includes all current company data and modules used.
Limitations of the Archives
There are a few limitations to be aware of. Archives are company specific and cannot be filtered by date or folder structure. Confidential mail and transmittals are excluded, and message files have size limitations. Requesting an Archive To request an archive, the requester must complete the InEight Archive Request Form. If third party access is needed, customer approval is mandatory. Once approved, the contract process begins.
