Then hover over defects and select the defects register.
Click this symbol to open the defect information sheet.
The inspection company and inspector will default to the logged in user.
These can be changed if you're raising defects on behalf of someone else.
Select a building, area, location, room, item, Sub item and defect.
Depending on how your project has been configured, these fields might be labeled differently.

Enter the subcontractors and add notes as required.
Then save.
Next, select the subcontractors tab.
Sequence the contractors appropriately.
For example, in this case, the painter would be scheduled to come in only after the plaster's work is complete.
Add defect time and cost information, and the due by date.
Click on the photos tab, to attach any photos.
These can be viewed in full screen or gallery view.
Finally, if a defects past field is set to no, then this will be flagged as a defect.

Where passed equals yes, or marked as not applicable.
This indicates that the item was inspected and has been approved on the very first inspection or was not available for that inspection.
