Video - InEight Document Enhanced - Initiating a Form

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to InEight Document.

This video demonstrates how to initiate a form.

From within the forms register.

Click here and select the form you wish to initiate.

You'll only see form types you have send access to.

At this stage, as the initiator of the form, only section one, and the distribution and header information are available.

All other sections are grayed out.

Click select reviewers and choose the distribution group to assign users into the correct steps of the workflow automatically.

This may not be required if the default distribution group is being used. Now, the distribution group has been defined.

You can see this form recipient has been automatically assigned the reviewer in the investigation section.

Next, enter a subject and a message, and any other required details.

This form can be saved a number of times by clicking save.

It will remain as a draft until the form is activated.

You can link other innate objects such as transmitters, documents or mail by going to the links tab.

Then clicking here.

Search the relevant register, by using the drop down.

Select filter criteria.

And click search.

Select the required items, Then click the arrow to move them to the right side of the screen.

Finally, Click save.

Then close.

These items will then be available on the links tab.

To activate the form, click complete action.

This sends the form to the first reviewer.

Within the review status tab.

You can see the current step highlighted here, as well as the current reviewer.

Number of days scheduled for the review, and the scheduled date for completion.

As the review progresses, each form participant will complete their required actions and either progress the form?

Or return it to a previous step if required.

Depending on their role, the form initiator may also need to.

Change the reviewer for a particular step using the manage reviewer function here.

Confirm the status of a form at any given time here?

Or close out the form once all reviews are completed. By clicking here.
