Welcome to InEight Document.

This video introduces you to key elements of forms.

Each form represents a collection of activities around a single transaction, such as the request for information process.

This means that by default, all activities are visible to all parties on the form.

Forms are made up of multiple sections with each section describing different elements of a workflow or commenting process.

There is single reference number for the entire transaction.

With a form status, displaying where the form currently sits in the workflow process.

A distribution list, captures form recipients, here, either for action or for information.

The comment tab can be used to capture informal discussions, such as concerns prior to making a response to a form.

Each form has an audit trail that captures the entire history of form activity.

Lastly, Forms can be linked to other innate document objects such as mail, documents, three d models, transmitters, and even other forms.

Forms often involve multiple recipients participating in a workflow of reviews and approvals before being closed out.

In this request for information example, the contractor raises a question about the slab thickness.

Probably because it is not described on this drawing.

It's important to document each recipient's involvement in this process, because the issue deals with structural integrity, which can significantly impact the project.

Once the contractor has issued the form.

This recipient is notified and a response requested.

The recipient then responds.

Consequently, this person is notified to review the form.

Lastly, the approver finally adds more comments and approves it.

This workflow has been pre-assigned to happen automatically with all information captured on a single form.
