This video demonstrates how to manage mail configuration.

From the mail inbox, select actions, then admin, and click here.

This shows all mail types available on this project. And settings such as predefined number of days to respond, if any, and the types of mail that can be forwarded or responded to from a particular mail type.

Set up mandatory recipients by clicking here.

And choose whether they are defined at the project, company, or personal level.

Individuals or contract groups can be added as mandatory recipients.

Just find their details and allocate them to the appropriate field, then save.

Set up the mandatory fields for each mail type by clicking here.

Just tick the box to set which fields are mandatory, then click save.

If you're using tender docs you can also define default mail types for tenders here.

Select a mail type for more configuration options.

Clicking response type only means this mail type is not available when creating new mail.

Ticking here means that when responding to mail, this field is automatically populated with the original Mail's reference number.

You also have the option here to restrict or allow users to edit this reference number when responding or forwarding mail.

Alternatively, set up a single mail reference number for all mail in a conversation with response and forward counters.

To create a new mail type, simply click here.

And then complete the mandatory fields.

Note that the mail type can be based on an established template.
