Video - InEight Document Enhanced - Managing Document Reviews

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to InEight Document.

This video demonstrates how to manage document review workflows as a review coordinator.

Documents must be uploaded using a document status that triggers a review.

The document will then be uploaded into the register as Awaiting Review.

Based on project settings, the document is then automatically sent to a default review team based on the document details, or the review initiator is notified, so they can activate the review.

To activate the review, go to this menu, Documents, Manage workflow.

Choose the appropriate document.

Then, go to this menu to alter the existing review team.

You can set reviewers in sequence.

Or in parallel, or a combination of both.

You can also change the default review coordinator before activating the review.

The review coordinator will now be notified there is an active review.

They can view the current review status of any document by opening up the document detail screen and going to the review status tab. To see who has completed their review and other key details.

They can also make any additional changes to the review team or time frames.

Once the reviewers have completed their reviews, the review coordinator will again be notified, so they can release the document.

To do this, from this menu, select documents, then release.

Find the correct document.

Choose who to send the review comments to at the top of the screen.

Add an overall comment using the review comments icon.

In this screen, you can confirm which of the reviewers comments are included in the release.

Select the appropriate review status which will determine whether the document is released or rejected.

The document register will then be updated and all relevant parties notified.

If the document is rejected, only the document uploader will be notified, so they can make required changes before re-uploading.

Well, that's how to manage review and approval workflows.

Thanks for watching.
