Welcome to InEight Document.

This video demonstrates how to manage form access.

Users can be given read or send access to form types based on the security group they belong to.

Read Access gives all users in that security group the ability to participate in an action that form type.

Send access also allows them to initiate that type of form.

To grant access to a form type. From the dashboard, click here.

And select admin, then manage user access.

Select the security group.

Then from here, Choose forms.

All users in that security group can be granted either read or send access.

Note that without read access, a user can't be included in the for action section of that form type.

Click save once complete.

If users need access to cancel a form type, four conditions must be met.

First, they must have send access to that form type, Secondly, they need to belong to the same company as the user who initiated that form.

Thirdly, the form must not be closed out.

Finally, permission to cancel forms must be activated in project settings.

To activate this permission, as an administrator, click here and select project settings.

Next, choose the form section.

Permission to cancel forms can be granted to administrators, company users, and initiators.
