Video - InEight Document Enhanced - Sending Mail

Welcome to InEight Document. This video demonstrates how to send mail.

Click the Plus icon and select from the list of mail types. Let's use Site Instruction. Begin typing the recipient's name or click here to select the recipient.

Enter the subject and all message details. If you need a response, leave the status outstanding. Use this field to add a reference number if appropriate.

Click here to add files from your computer.

You can also attach items from the document or mail register.

In this case, I'll attach a scanned letter from the council about the access road closure. Use the action note and response fields to add notes that are only visible to your company.

Clicking Save As Draft saves a copy to your draft mailbox.

Use the arrow next to Send and click here to send for internal review.

This can also be used if you only have permission to draft certain mail types and not send them. Finally, click Send.
