Welcome to InEight document. This video demonstrates how to submit deliverables in the submittals module. Once you receive a transmittal notifying you that a submittal has been issued to your company and you are one of the issued to users, you can submit deliverables to the managing company. The submittal transmittal describes the documents to submit and includes a link to the submittal from the transmittal.

Click the link to the submittal. The Submittal detail page opens where you can see the submission due date. Click the deliverables tab to see the list of required deliverables. You do not have to wait until all deliverables are ready before submitting.

As you can submit deliverables as they become available. If the documents column shows a number, a placeholder document has been added by the managing company, we go into more details of using placeholders in a separate video. Click here to add files to the deliverable. Now, update any fields as required for the deliverable entry.

Some fields may have been filled in by the managing company when the deliverable was created. Once all mandatory fields have been filled in, click save. Now when back on the deliverables page, the pending documents column shows the number of documents that have been uploaded but not submitted. Select the deliverable.

The submit button is updated with the number of documents that have been uploaded but not submitted. To submit the documents, choose one of the following. Click submit document. If you plan to submit more deliverables later, or click submit documents and complete.

If you have all of the deliverables uploaded, which is the option we'll use now, enter a message and then click send. A transmittal is created and sent to the managing company and submittal managers. The submission status and the review status reason columns are now updated to submitted. If you selected the option to complete, the submission is now complete and you can no longer upload new documents.

The managing company can review, reject, or start the formal review workflow for the document. Well, that's how to submit deliverables in the Submittals module. Thanks for watching.
