Welcome to InEight Document. This video demonstrates how to use the task module.
First, to establish a new task, click New.
Then Task and enter the recipient here.
You can allocate tasks to yourself or even multiple recipients.
Next, assign the task owner if it's not yourself.
Set a due date, priority.
Subject and task description.
Associate the task with mail, documents, or other InEight Document items using this tab.
Save it as a draft for later or send immediately.
The task recipients are then notified.
To manage tasks, locate them within the dashboard.
Or use task register filters.
To open a task, click here.
Details including the status, the percentage complete, action notes, and personal notes can be updated as required.
Personal notes are only visible to yourself.
Tasks can be reassigned to someone else like this.
It will then appear in the new recipient's task list.
To close out a task, the task recipient, updates the status to complete it.
This notifies the task owner who can then open the task from the sent register and choose closeout.
The owner can also duplicate, cancel, and reactivate, canceled tasks from here.
