Projects sometimes receive a large volume of drawings as a single PDF. Often these drawings need to be tracked as individual documents in InEight Document. This leads to lost time in either sending them back to the contractor/designer to address this or splitting them out manually and uploading each individually.
To save time, you can select files to be split into individual sheets automatically.
From the XL-Upload tab, click Add Files & Split.
Select a PDF file with multiple pages which need to be separated, and then click Open.
The PDF is split into individual files with the page numbers appended at the end of each file name.
After the PDF is split into individual files, they can then be uploaded as usual.
