Using Custom Fields

If you work across different projects, XL-Upload adds any existing customized fields from your project. This feature is dependent on the project specified in Defaults from the XL-Upload menu. After specifying and saving your project, you are prompted to enter your user security credentials.

After you have successfully entered your credentials, XL-Upload reviews your project for any custom Document fields and adds them into your XL-Upload spreadsheet in the far-right columns.

If the document module has custom fields that are linked to configuration tables, they show as drop-down fields in XL-Upload after selecting Get Document Details without the need to have a customized version of XL-Upload.

If the custom field is a multi-select field type, a pop-up window will display providing the list of values which the user can select.
