Platform 25.3 Release Notes

This is a preview of the upcoming release. General release is available starting 21-APR-2025.

• InEight Explore permissions – The permission View shared dashboards and embedded content only in Explore > Dashboards, has been replaced with multiple permissions to be more granular. The new permissions to view shared dashboards and embedded content can be set for user, role, project, and organization levels.

• InEight Model permissions – Model permissions have been activated in Tags and objects, Data Transformation Operations (DTO), Coordination, Project structures, and Excel Plug-In sections, which can now be configured for users. For additional information, refer to Model 25.3 Release Notes.

• Roles and permissions page layout and enhancements – In Suite administration, the Roles and permissions page has been updated to improve filtering and add new functionality. Read more

  

  The Delete icon has been removed and the Status column was added. Roles cannot be deleted but the status lets you determine whether the role is available or unavailable to be assigned to a user. If an existing user is assigned a role that was later changed to Unavailable, a notification will indicate it in the Edit user dialog box for the user’s roles. This is a prompt to delete or assign a different role for the user.
