Apply Queries

Welcome to InEight Plan. In this video, you'll learn how to use the Query Builder to filter components in Quantity Tracking.

In Quantity Tracking, you have a variety of options for narrowing and filtering components, including column filters, the CBS tree, and the Advanced Work Packaging filter.

If you need to apply a more customized filter, you can set up a query using the Query Builder.

This allows you to filter the entire table of components based on multiple conditions.

New query

To get started, click the Query icon from the left side of the page.

The Queries slide-out panel opens. Here you can quickly apply any saved or shared queries.

To create a new query, click Add.

Select the column your first condition will apply to.

Then select the operator and the value.

To add another condition, click [the Add icon].

To change how the conditions are grouped, click [AND/OR].

When you're finished, click Apply.

Your query results are displayed on the right.

Save a query

You can save your query to quickly access it again in the future.

To share your query with your team members, click the Share icon.

You can also unshare the query at any time by editing the query and clicking Unshare.

Clear queries

To clear your queries and filters, click [the Clear icon].
