Welcome to InEight Plan.
In this video, you'll learn how to associate ITPs to a component in Quantity Tracking or in Work Packaging.
Inspection and test plans, or ITPs, can be set up and approved in both InEight Compliance and Completions, and then associated at the component level in Plan.
Before you associate an ITP to a component, make sure it's been set up and approved in InEight Compliance or Completions.
Settings
To work with ITPs in Plan, first go to Project Settings.
In the Plan settings, turn on the setting for ITP mapping.
Associate in Quantity Tracking
In Quantity Tracking, you can associate an ITP at the component level.
Choose a component and then select Manage ITPs.
In the Inspection and Test Plans slide-out panel, click here to add an ITP to your component.
You'll see a list of available ITPs that have been approved in Compliance or Completions.
Select an ITP and click Add.
Now you'll see a card for your ITP.
Note that the card shows the total number of steps in the plan, as well as how many steps you currently have selected.
Under Activities, select each of the steps you want to include.
Now the ITP steps are associated to your component.
Back on the Quantity Tracking page, you can add the linked ITPs column to your register to quickly find components that are mapped to ITPs.
You can edit your ITP details at any time by returning to Manage ITPs in Quantity Tracking.
Associate in Work Packaging
You can also manage ITPs in the Work Packaging module of Plan.
Open an installation work package and go to the Workspace tab.
In the Activity Components block, you can add components from your project.
If your component has an ITP already associated to it, it will appear here.
Click the Edit icon to see the details of the ITP and make any changes.
You can also add an ITP to a component here.
Note that any changes you make to an ITP in Work Packaging will also appear in Quantity Tracking.
Now you've learned how to associate an ITP to a component in Plan, and you're ready to schedule an ITP form in either Compliance or Completions.
Thanks for watching.
