Welcome to InEight Plan. In this video, you'll learn how to edit previously claimed quantities. During the process of claiming quantities, you may need to make edits or updates. For example, you may need to claim additional quantity for a step in a component, or to back out a quantity that was reported incorrectly.
You can easily add or subtract quantities from components from the Quantity Tracking module of InEight Plan. To get started, select a component and click Edit on the Edit activity component slide-out panel. Click the Claiming History tab. Click the Edit icon for the previous entry.
Here you can update the approver and executor and add notes. However, you cannot change the quantity and date information on the left. This preserves an audit trail to document the claiming of this component. Click on the Claiming tab and edit the claimed quantity.
Note that the This period quantity field automatically recalculates. When finished, click Save. Back on the Claiming History tab, you can now see your new entry, and the percent complete has been updated in the component register. Now you've learned how to edit claimed quantities in Plan.
