Video - InEight Completions (Legacy) - CERTIFICATES: 1 Search Hierarchy & Advanced Filters

TRANSCRIPT

In this video, we'll cover how to navigate search and filter within our Certificate module in the Completions HQ application. Since I'm already logged into a project, and I'm in the Certificate's module, I can begin interacting with a couple of different filters to find the certificate I'm looking for. I could use the quick filters. This one named "Assigned to Me" is a great option.

It can mean there's a certificate that requires my signature or my team signature. I can clear that filter by clicking on "Clear Filters." Maybe I want to search for a specific keyword based on a value like sub-system or a certificate type. By using this search function, I can see all the certificates attached to the Flare.

And I can clear that filter by clicking the "X". I can also use my hierarchy filter to isolate for a specific grandparent element, to see all the certificates attached to that item, and each of the subsystems below it. This filter is called a cross-module filter, meaning as I change modules, it remains filtered down based on that selection. I can clear that filter by clicking on this button.

The last method is using the Advanced Filters. to find a specific template. I can add multiple filters such as a specific Status or Actual Execution Date. Keep in mind a certificate represents the completion of the scope of work, which means all Checklists and Issues of a certain type are completed, and final walk downs and packages have been created.

We can also re-sort the certificates like I'm showing here, or I can change the order of them. Now, you know the variety of different ways we can filter our certificates. Thanks for watching.
