In this Completions video, you'll learn how to upload a turnover package and update signatures on a certificate using the HQ application. We'll start by finding the certificate that needs our signature, after the project admin assigns it to me or my team. You can't just go into any certificate and try to update the status. You'll be denied because the project admin needs to specifically set up who was assigned to the signature phase.
Conversely, if I got to one that has been assigned to me or my team, from here I can select one and choose whether to sign it. Before signing it we should attach a turnover package, a dossier, or anything else that we need to prove that this scope of work has been completed. That might include a scope of work or tag list, checklist reports, issue status reports, change log, scope drawings, and redline drawings. By clicking on Attachments, I can add an attachment.
This dossier will be reviewed and verified. Now you can see this attachment is available against the item moving forward. With my attachment made, I can now update my Certificate Phase status, so I can change it to Signed. I'll select my name from the drop-down.
I can add a description or comments to my signature and scribe my signature. When I add my signature, I'm agreeing to the text above. In this example, there is no legal language, but certificates deployed will have language that must be agreed to before signing. Finally, I'll click Pending Changes and Publish it.
And that's how you upload a turnover package and update your signature on a certificate. Thanks for watching.
