Video - InEight Completions (Legacy) - CHECKLISTS: 1 Navigate Search Hierarchy and Filters

TRANSCRIPT

Today we're going to walk through how to navigate using the Search and Filter functions in the Checklist module using Completion's HQ. Within the Checklist module, there are three types of Quick Filters. By default, we can see all open checklists. But more importantly, you can see someone like a Construction Coordinator has already gone into the Checklist and assigned some to me specifically, and some are assigned to my group.

Either way, we need to go into the checklist and Action it. We can also use the Search within the Elements hierarchy filter. You can select a certain system and isolate all of the checklists in that system. You can also use the hierarchy to isolate for a single element.

You can further search by looking up certain things like a template class, or by typing in a keyword. To clear a filter., pess here and then click the X to close. To clear the hierarchy filter, clear the selection.

You'll notice the Quick Filter changes each time a filter is cleared. To open a checklist, double-click on it and it will open to the details for that checklist. You can also select multiple checklists at one time by holding down the CTRL key while selecting multiple checklists for perhaps reassigning, editing or executing purposes. Much like Excel, you can also select a batch full of checklists by highlighting the initial checklist, clicking the SHIFT key, and then selecting the last one.

To show all of your Closed checklists as well, select the checkbox in the lower right-hand corner. When you you'll now only see your Closed checklists. You might want to review these closed checklists or print them out, for turnover at the end of your project. Select either a batch or a selection of checklists and click Reports > Generate PDF Report.

This has been an overview of the navigation using Filters and the Search Hierarchy in the Checklist module. Thanks for watching.
