Video - InEight Completions (Legacy) - CHECKLISTS: 5 Review Close and Create Issues

TRANSCRIPT

In this video, we'll cover how to review, close, and create issues on checklists in the HQ application. I'm a member of the Client team, and am in my project, with the checklists already filtered to those requiring my attention. From within the checklist, I can review the checklist information at the top. I can review any attachments that are linked to this checklist, as well as see what checklist questions this attachment is actually linked to.

If there are any issues created for this checklist, I can go through and review that issue. I can then start reviewing the checklist by clicking the Expand All button and reviewing the responses to the questions. I can visually see that I have an attachment associated to this item that's likely to be back-up documentation. And here's an issue on a failed question.

By clicking on it, I can examine this issue. In our case, we're going to add another issue to this same question by entering in the information regarding this new issue. We'll cover this in more detail in another video, but for now, after clicking, OK, it's going to create that new issue. If we review the checklist, we can see it's linked back to that specific checklist.

With the issue created, I can move on to see if there's any other information or questions that need my attention. As we move down the checklist, I see that the contractor from the QC team signed off this checklist, and now I'm gonna sign off on it too on behalf of the client team, acting as the client representative. I'll add my own signature, and now that all the questions are answered, we'll close this checklist by clicking Update Status and then Closed. You need to remember that only certain project roles are allowed to close a checklist.

Perhaps roles like Client and the Commissioning team or the Quality team. This pop-up says I have no unanswered questions, but I do have one unresolved question....the one with the red X. In our case, I'll click Close Anyway because I'm satisfied with how it's been closed.

The system will capture my ID, the date and time, and I have the option to add a Resolution Note. Once I click OK and scroll to the top of my checklist, I can see this checklist is now in a closed status, meaning that I can't edit it, I can't reassign it, and I can't add things to it anymore. And as always, the last thing I always want to do is to click Pending Updates. When I Publish my changes to the server, it's available to everyone else to now observe.

Thanks for watching.
