Video - InEight Completions (Legacy) - ISSUES: 1 Navigate Search Hierarchy Filter

TRANSCRIPT

In this video, we'll walk through how to navigate using the search and filter functions in the Issues module using Completions HQ. We're already logged into our project and our in the issues module. One of the ways we can search is by filtering on the hierarchy filter, which allows us to see different hierarchy results if there are any available for our issues. Most often, you'll likely use the quick filters at the top.

You can filter based on the different issue types, issue, statuses, and those assigned to you or your team. In this case, these require my immediate attention. Another way to filter is by typing into the Search field. This search function applies to anything in this list of our filter options, not just the columns you see in the middle of the screen.

Another way to search is to go into the Advanced Filters to select things like Mechanical Rotating to find an issue. You can clear your filter from here, or you can clear it here. If you wanna see issues that are closed or withdrawn, checking this box allows you to bring in your closed issues as well. You can also sort issues based on different columns.

So if you wanted to sort based on Status, you could do that. You can also flip it around. If you're selecting issues because you need to take action on them, you can select one hold SHIFT and then select down to the last one, and it'll select multiple items. You can also hold CTRL and individually click to select or unselect items.

That's how to find specific issues throughout the system. Thanks for watching.
