Video - InEight Completions (Legacy) - ISSUES: 3 Reassign, Reschedule, & Edit Issues

TRANSCRIPT

In this video, we'll review the reassigned, reschedule, and edit commands in the Issues module of Completions HQ. Within the Issues module, you can search for a specific Isometric issue by using the Search function, and then select it. There are three commands you have available, Reassign, Reschedule, and Edit. Based on your project role, the issue type, and the status.

The issue is in, you might have different availability to access these buttons. For example, if you are in a Construction role, and this was in a state of Client Review, you might not be able to edit, reschedule, or reassign this information. In fact, once the punch has been created, it might only be the project admin who has the access to edit the punch information at the top. That means you might need to ask your project admin to change the information if that's needed.

Once you select a punch, you can choose to edit it, which allows you to change some of the details. You can also reschedule the punch. Whenever you create a new issue, the due date will be four days out from the date of creation, though you can manually toggle this to several days out. The Reassign button is the most important feature because it showcases who owns the issue.

Right now, it's assigned to the piping team, but we could also reassign it from the piping team to a particular user. As we've rescheduled and reassigned this one issue, it's captured those changes in the History. It shows that the date was reassigned to the 23rd and the assignment was then changed to a specific individual. Assuming you had the permission, you could select multiple issues.

And if you didn't have the permission to edit, reassign, or reschedule, the system would tell you that. If you are able to select, edit, reassign, or reschedule, it's because you've selected values that your project role has allowed you to touch and manipulate. In this case, we'll just update the due date on all of these as well as the responsible team member. We'll add the pipe vent as a secondary category, then click OK.

Those edits affected all three of these, and if we go into one of them, we'll see that the information has been changed. Thanks for watching.
