Statuses

Statuses represent the condition of a form or task. In the Statuses settings, you can create new statuses as well as change or add colors to the statuses. You can apply statuses to each module of an organization and then create child statuses to facilitate their processes. You can apply these statuses to events with or without a form. You can also apply statuses to a form and it shows on the Events page. Compliance has some standard statuses that each have their own requirements.

The following table provides more information about the default status available.

Differences between States and Statuses

States are another indication of form or task condition that are different from statuses. States cannot be changed or customized by your choices, unlike statuses. States are driven only by your actions on forms or tasks. States let you know that a work item is overdue regardless of its status in your workflow or process.

The following table provides more information about the available states.
