In this video, we'll review the functions within the All Events and All Tasks pages.
From within a module's landing page, under Links, the All Events or All Tasks tabs take you to the filled out and saved events or tasks for which you have permission to see.
Alternatively, clicking Tasks or Events from any tile brings you to the same tasks or events page.
And you can toggle between the two by selecting from the drop-down.
If you need to edit something on the event you just performed, or just need to open it back up to continue filling it out, you can click on the event title link.
Open the event up and continue to fill it out.
There are a number of additional columns you might want to choose to add to your All Events or All Tasks view. To do that, select the Column Chooser, and select the columns you want to add.
In both the All Events and All Tasks view, in the References column, you might see a hyperlink with a number in that column. If there is an event or task associated to that title, this field will provide the hyperlink to it.
Alternatively, you could open the event or task, click on the Information icon, and click on the References link.
The process is similar for editing a task. On a tile, click here to open the task.
And speaking of hyperlinks, when you hover over an event's Status, and it shows the hyperlink, that indicates the event has an active form flow. That can be even easier to determine if you've added the Form Flow column, as it will indicate the responsible party.
At the top of each column, you'll see a Funnel icon. Click on any Funnel icon to search or pick from the list to filter the selection.
Once you're done with that filtering, you can go to the right, and click on the Clear All Filters button to clear your selections, and bring you back to the default view.
Proper role based permissions are required to check out, or in, an event or task. This functionality is found under Roles, in the Events tab. To check out an item, select an event or task, and click here. The lock indicates the check out has occurred, and if you've added the Location column to your view, you'll be able to see who the item is checked out to as well.
With the item checked out, and with Checkout Sync enabled on the SQC Mobile app, the assigned individual can continue to fill out the form or task.
When the user completes the form, they can check back in the event or task from the SQC Mobile app by using the existing buttons configured as part of the form. Or to manually sync, by swiping right on the event or task to show the manual sync option.
Once the event or task is synced back to the web, the column information on the web application becomes updated again.
We recommend having the Location and Source columns visible to further facilitate using check-in and check out features.
If you've added columns to your view, you can also save it to use that view later. By using the View drop-down, you can save the view you have on the screen by selecting Save View As, then name the view and click Save.
Go back to the view drop-down selector, and you can see that you now have a Saved View.
Back on the tiles main landing page, you can now also access the saved view in the Links column below All Events and All Tasks.
Exporting an event or task data is accomplished by selecting an item, and clicking here.
The pop-up indicates you'll receive an email with a link to download the file.
Thanks for watching.
