In this video, we'll show you how, with the right permissions, you can set module specific settings within InEight Compliance and InEight Completions.
On the Module Summary tab, you can make summary changes for your module.
These changes will show up throughout the product portfolio, module page, tabs, landing page, and mobile device.
Here, you can indicate the module's name and description that shows up on the product's main page, and what the module will be referred to throughout other InEight applications.
The email address comes from what was set up already in the InEight platform, and will be used for notifications across the platform.
With at least one category created and a published template, You can now select the Activate Module toggle to turn on the module.
To save time, use the Configure Automatic User Assignment section to automatically assign a product role and category to all users from InEight Platform.
In Language Settings, you can select which languages you want to use in the module. All user configurable fields can be translated into the languages selected here.
Use the Module Organization tab to exclude projects or organizations from seeing the module.
For instance, when other means are being used for tracking.
On the Categories tab, you can create categories to partition the forms and users within the module, and control who has access to them.
You could break your module up by type of work or types of forms, or even use it for subcontractors so they only see the forms that are associated with that category.
The options are endless, and really depend on your business use for the module.
On the Types tab, you can create terminology to classify an event or task.
These are especially helpful during the closing phase of a project.
On the All Events or All Tasks page, you can filter forms or tasks by type after adding it via the column chooser.
On the Classifications tab you can further classify a form for filtering and reporting purposes, or to facilitate logic within the form.
For example, in a walk down form, the user may be asked to identify if it's an initial or final walkdown.
Having that type of classification allows you to easily filter for the type of walk down you need.
The Statuses tab comes with four standard statuses Complete, Pending, Scheduled, and Canceled.
These are applied to events or tasks and show up on the event or task list pages.
Under each status, you can add additional custom statuses that will follow the same actions as their parent status.
Color coding by background and text are available for quick visual reference.
There are eight default email templates that the system will send to users when there's an assigned event or task, an overdue event or task, an upcoming event or task, or a reversed workflow notification.
Within each template, some fields in parentheses are programmatically assigned field names and aren't editable.
Other areas of the email template are open for editing including the use of bold, italic, and underline.
Typing in the @ symbol adds another layer of personalization to choose from other programmatic fields.
Roles in both Compliance and Completions are separate from roles that apply to the entire suite of InEight products.
Within both products, you can create as many roles as needed to facilitate any process you plan to do within the module.
There are three seated roles that come with each module.
The Reporter role performs events in any assigned category, organization, or project, but can't delete events and has no access to admin settings.
The Module Administrator role performs events as well as administrates in any assigned category, organization, or project.
Read only users have read only access to their events and tasks in any category or assigned project.
User assignments contain all users on your InEight platform, with their emails and statuses.
Here you can assign them to organizations and projects you'd like them to have access to.
Next, select the Categories they'll have a role on, while performing Compliance or Completions functions in these organizations and projects. And what role they play within the categories.
You can edit user assignments from here as well.
Inspections and Test Plans (ITPs) can be created via a template download. Or if one is already saved as an excel file, it can be imported into a new ITP.
And if an ITP is created at the root organizational level, it's available to be copied at the project level.
Well, that covers how to make Compliance and Completions changes within Settings.
Thanks for watching!
