In this video, we'll cover how to create a new form or task
template within InEight Compliance and Completions.
From the Templates Manager page, click on either the Create New Form or Create New Task button.
This will open a dialog box where you can provide some required information, such as the name, description, and category.
You have a few options at this point.
You can determine if you want the form or task available on a mobile device.
For any form or task, you can enable a reminder email notification to the reporter or responsible party, a specified number of days in advance of the due date.
And for a form or task, you can enable the dynamic header.
You have two options for both the title and date fields.
If the date is shown as user defined, the user must indicate the date on the form or task.
You could also add an expiration date and renewal date.
When this toggle is turned on, the template is hidden and can only be used through association with the form button.
It'll not show up on the new events or task tiles, and it can't be scheduled as a stand alone item.
Finally, you would confirm the organization and click Create.
This will open up another tab, which is the builder.
This builder allows you to drag and drop questions and sections to the form to make building a form easy and intuitive.
Once created, any of these fields can be edited in the Properties tab.
Once published, export / import functions allow translations in available languages to be applied to a template, giving you a quick and easy way to enter translations.
Start by exporting the template Excel spreadsheet file, with all of the questions and sections.
Then, fill it out in the desired language.
And finally, import it back into the form or task template.
Also on the Properties tab in the Actions drop-down, you can choose to add or delete a Custom ID on a form or task. This is helpful when you need another way to differentiate tasks or events for reporting ease.
You can use any or all of these fields.
Then you select the organizations and projects you want the custom ID associated to, and then finally the Categories.
Now, each time the form or task is filled out, it will indicate the Custom ID on the All Events or All Tasks page.
Can also run the Compliance General Forms and Tasks report on a single event or task.
On the Properties tab here, you can enable Print functionality. Then, select the report to run. And if you have access to the item and can print it, you can print all its questions and its answers.
Select an event or task to print, then just click on the Print icon.
A new browser tab appears with a PDF of the Compliance General Forms and Tasks report for the item you selected.
