Template Integration

In this video, we'll cover template integration and how to manage this functionality.

 

It's a really helpful feature when you need to use a form or task from within another InEight application that's currently integrated with Compliance or Completions.

Adding a template integration

To add a template integration, you must have a level three admin permission, and the template must have already been published.

If you don't have that level three admin role, you'll see the Add Template Integration button, but you can't use it.

Go to the Templates Manager, and in the Properties tab of a published form or task, you'll click on the "Add Template Integration" button under Options.

When the dialog box opens, fill out the required fields, which includes the integration title, category association, associated products, organization, and project association.

This template integration now lets you make tasks available for use within another InEight application that's currently integrated with Compliance or Completions.

Viewing and editing template integrations

You can view the listing of template integrations, but you can't edit them here at the project level.

Click on this arrow to allow you to adjust the product settings at the root organization level.

Now you can select an integration to delete it.

And when you click on the integration title you can view the existing setup or edit it as needed.
