In this video we'll review some of the frequently used settings you'll utilize when building a template in InEight Compliance or InEight Completions.
When creating your template, think of the form or task broken into chunks, set apart by sections.
Within each section, add questions using the variety of question types available.
The top of a form will often provide answers to the five W's: who, what, where, why, when, and how?
With further information or next steps below.
Initial information like dates and times can be added separately or together.
The People Picker identifies names through appropriate user assignment roles in the Settings tab.
Adding supporting text can add clarity for a person when completing a form or task.
The List option adds a multiple choice question to the form.
You can select answers from predefined lists, such as date and time, demographics, geographic regions, and survey options, or you can create your own.
The Text option adds a question that requires the respondent to type in an answer.
The text field can allow for short or long text, or you can use this question type to only be a label with no text field.
Settings for each question also include an Access section, where you can control which roles can answer the question when filling out the form.
If you don't have access, you'll not see the question on the form or task.
The Choice question adds a question with two options, and can be represented as either icons or text with predefined answers including Yes/No, Pass/Fail, Accept/Reject, or you can customize your own.
The Logic setting allows you to show or hide a question based on the response from another question on the form or task.
The Signature button allows respondents to sign their name as a means to visually validate an individual's response.
A button can be personalized in three ways.
For Single or Multi Use If the form or task will close once the button is selected.
And, if the status of the form or task will change when the respondent selects the button.
The Email setting option sends an email to specific roles or users when a task or event is filled out.
A pop-up box provides the opportunity to draft the email in a user friendly format.
Continue adding other question types as needed.
Finally, save the template and click the Publish icon to make the template available for use.
Thanks for watching!
