Welcome to InEight Design. This video demonstrates some of the key settings for the quantity forecasting module in InEight Design. First, let's start with organization settings. To access the organization settings, click here.

Then the Design tab. Make sure you are on the quantity forecasting settings tab. The Design tracking stages functionality enables users to capture the latest design information for a specified scope of work. The design stages are often tracked to the 30, 60 and 90% stage, but can be configured to what is most suitable to your project.

Here you can see how they're applied in the Quantity Forecasting grid. Design elements and account code sets can be configured, allowing you to define metadata for your market to provide additional data analytics. Design elements are intended to be a list of sub-disciplines or commodity groupings that a user can associate to a quantity item. This is how they're applied to the quantity items in the quantity forecasting module.

They are available to select from the dropdown list when creating a new quantity item seen here. When you want to capture quantity change within the system, you can use the quantity change notes window in the actions tab seen here. These cause code settings refer to the dropdown options within the table. Next, let's navigate to the project settings area.
