Integration with InEight Change

Design's integration with change allows you to link existing issues from InEight Change with scope items, enhancing the change management process. This integration helps you identify which scope items have associated issues or change orders.

Navigating the Design Engineering Page

On the design engineering page, you'll find a new issue column when you expand it.

Associating Issues with Scope Items

This column lets you associate an issue with one or multiple steps of a particular scope item.

Viewing and Assigning Issues

Clicking on the issue hyperlink displays a list of issues configured within change. You can then assign an issue to a specific step or to the entire scope.

Example of Issue Assignment

For example, let's assign an issue to all remaining steps in this scope. Click save to confirm.

Now, the issue is linked to multiple steps.

Managing Associated Steps

By selecting the number, you can see how many steps are associated with the issue and remove any step if needed.
