Welcome to InEight Design. In this video, you'll learn how to undo claims for a step or a scope item in InEight Design, reducing the scope item back to 0% complete. Let's expand a selected scope item to view its claiming steps. In this scope item, note that all the steps are completed, and the scope item is at a hundred percent complete.

To unclaim at a step level, click here. Here you see different claiming entries for this one step. When you save this, it will undo all of the claiming to zero for this particular item. When you want to undo claims for all steps in the scope item, select the undue claiming button here.

Again, the undue claim window appears, but with all the steps listed, click here to save. As a result, claiming on all steps has reverted to 0%. The undue claiming button is now gone and the undue claims are sent to the assigned WBS in Control. Under the audit log tab, the original claims and claim reversals are captured for audit purposes.
