Video - InEight Model - Create Styles & Style Sets

TRANSCRIPT

InEight Model provides you the ability to view your model as it makes sense to you. Color-coordinate work areas or systems, or create realistic views of your model by assigning styles to style sets. Styles are materials or colors, like cement or light gray, and style sets are collections of assigned styles.

You can view and manage styles in Style Sets from the Styling panel.

Both the Style Sets and Styles tabs contain predefined items that cannot be edited.

To create a new style set, click the Add icon. To add styles to your new style set, select the style set, then select the Styles tab.

Notice the Styles tab stays the Active Style Set. All style changes or additions you make will belong to the Active Style Set.

To create a new style, click the Add icon, then set your Fill and Line preferences. All new styles are saved under the project name in the Styles tab.

You can assign existing styles to a tag to change the appearance of the model objects with that tag. For instance, if you want to highlight everything related to work area, A, you can assign a colorful tag and see the immediate change.
