In InEight model, master presets allow you to capture, save, and share the context or state of your project through a filtered lens or camera angle. Let's take a look at how to create a master preset.
Prepare Your Model.
For instance, if you want to create a master preset of just the foundations, adjust your model to show just the foundations now so you can capture this view.
When you're ready, click the Add icon on the Master Presets panel to create a new master preset. In the Editor, name your new master preset and select your settings.
The master preset settings include model visibility, which shows models that are visible and in view; selected objects, which shows any of the objects you have selected on the model; style sets, which shows any styles already assigned to the visible objects of your model; object visibility, which saves the objects states so that any objects already hidden remain hidden; workspace, which saves the user interface configuration, their location, and current screen resolution; archive, which saves any open documents in the archive library; sectioning, which shows any planes or sections of your model that are visible; measurements, which shows the selected measurements graphically or visually; and finally, camera transition time, which allows you to adjust the speed of the camera's transition time if you have the camera option selected.
To capture just the foundations, select Object Visibility. Your new master preset will appear in the Master Presets panel.
Select a master preset to edit or delete it. To update your master preset with the current data, right-click and select Update Selected with Current Values.
To set a master preset as your default project view, you can right-click on the master preset and select Set as project default. You can also create groups to organize and manage master presets. And you can right-click on a master preset for sharing options.
