Daily plans in the Awaiting Approval stage cannot be approved if they include inactive employees, inactive tasks, or employees who have not been signed out.
Inactive Employee: If an employee on a daily plan is removed from the project, they become inactive. To fix this, the employee can be reassigned to the project under Assigned operational resources, or the employee can be removed from the daily plan.
Inactive Task: In InEight Control, if the setting “Hide in Plan, Progress, and Design” is turned on for a task that is currently in use on daily plans, that task becomes inactive on all daily plans in InEight Progress. In this case, plans in the Awaiting Approval phase cannot be approved. To fix this, remove the task from daily plans in the Planning or Execution phase. Otherwise, turn off the setting “Hide in Plan, Progress, and Design” in InEight Control to reactivate the task for all daily plans.
Signed Out Employee: All employees must be signed out to approve a daily plan. If an employee time card was rejected during the Awaiting Approval stage, return to the Sign in/Sign out tab and repeat the sign out process.
Changes made to a daily plan are not immediately reflected in Time Center. Time card details are sent to Time Center when a daily plan is submitted to a new phase. For example, when a daily plan is submitted from the Execution to the Awaiting Approval phase, any changes made to the time card details then become visible in Time Center.
Yes! Progress Mobile is available on Apple devices running the current/latest version of iOS/iPadOS.
Daily plans in the Planning phase do not sync from Progress Mobile. Starting with the Execution phase, daily plans sync between Progress Mobile and the web version.
