Video - InEight Report - Report Execution

TRANSCRIPT

After initiating the run Report Execution, a new tab appears with the SSRS report. All the reports come with a standard pain of functionality to perform certain actions on the executed report. On top of the executed report is the parameter pain. This pain is used to control the filters to display on the report.

You can change the parameters, such as the date and run the report again with new changes by clicking View Report. The report page controls help you to navigate through your report. You can maximise and minimise the parameters. Enter a specific page number, go back or forward to view different pages.

Go to the end of the report document or go to the beginning. You can also go back one level if on a subordinate or child report to navigate back to a parent main report. If you know that data has changed, you can also refresh the report and it will bring any new data within the report pages controls. You can export the report into several different formats as well as search for content through the whole report by utilising the search bar.

Most of the reports provide a report information link, which provides definitions for the columns used in the report. Back on the My Views page, you can see all your saved views created on the left side of the screen. Save views allow a report with specific parameters you've specified to be saved for future uses. From this page, you can run a report, rename the view, delete the view, or edit the report views.

Click on the installed Quantity save view for your project, and change the date parameter. Then click Save. Now your save view is updated on the view name list.
