The Reports module allows you to select a report to run and then define further parameters if needed. Before running the report on the reports page, you'll initiate setting up your report. From the reports list, you'll see an alphabetical listing of all reports available to run. You can search through the list of available reports by using the scroll or search features.

In this case, let's say you'd like to run a report on the Installed Quantity for a project you're working on. The report title and report parameters will be displayed on the right. Depending on the report selected, different parameters will be available. Select an appropriate project.

You can also modify the tasks and the specific date range. Now that the parameters have been filled out, you can save the report as a view or run the report, click Run report and the report will initiate opening up a new tab. If pop-ups are not blocked by your web browser, the report information is displayed with the report title as well as report parameters that could be adjusted to filter the report data if necessary. If you need more information on the report, you can click the report information link if available, which will give you definitions for the columns used in the report.

Click on the save icon to save the report to a file. In this case, you've selected the PDF file format from the list of the file formats available, and the file is now exported as a PDF. With any report, you can create a save view with your parameters selected. If this report or any report parameters need to be repeated frequently or need to be saved for future use, you can utilise the save view feature.

To save a view, click the Save as a view button. You can either save the view or Save and go to views, which will navigate you to the My Views page. Enter a name for the view and click Save and go to views. On the My Views page, you can now see the save view on the left side of the screen.

Also, you have the option to further detail out preferences for your view, which include language, date, offsets, and number and date formats. The My Views tab will display all your save views and will allow for ease of access to run reports frequently used.
