InEight Report allows you to subscribe users to different reports for them to receive reports directly via email on a scheduled basis. The following steps walk you through how to subscribe users to different reports using saved report views. Click on the Subscriptions tab from the left menu. Click to select the report view name for which you want to subscribe.

Then click on the Add subscription icon. In the Add Subscription Wizard, click and type the name field then press Tab. In the Description field, type a description of the report name. In the recipient email addresses field enter the email addresses of the recipients you want the report to go to.

Note that when you start typing a list shows up with the matching addresses. Click Next. To schedule a daily subscription, fill in the following information. In the frequency field, select Daily.

In the Repeat every field, select one day. For the Run time local, select a time. Select the Start date for the subscription, and if applicable, select the End date for the subscription then click Next. To schedule a weekly subscription, fill in the following information.

In the Frequency field, select Weekly. In the Repeat every field, select one week or as desired. Under Repeat on check the box for the desired day of the week. Under Runtime local select a time for the weekly notice.

Select the Start date for the subscription, and if applicable, select the End date for the subscription then click Next. To schedule a monthly subscription, fill in the following information. In the frequency field, select Monthly. Under Repeat every select how often to repeat, in this case, select every month.

Select whether to repeat on a specific week of the month or on certain calendar days. In this case, select the first week of the month. Select the day of the week to run the report or enter the calendar days. Enter a local Run time.

Select the Start date for the subscription. If applicable, select the end date for the subscription then click Next. In the final step of the Add Subscription Wizard, perform the following steps. Click the down arrow and select the views that you want to include.

Click the Add additional views link to add the new view under file type. Click the dropdown arrow to select the format you want the report to be in. In this case, select PDF. Now click on the Subscriptions tab to see your subscriptions.

You'll see that your newly created subscriptions now show up under the Subscriptions tab. If you set them up using your email, and they'll also appear on the My Views tab. Click on the My Views tab, select your view on the left. Then scroll down to the Subscription section to see your subscription.

If you no longer need to send out a report via subscription, you can turn off the subscription by inactivating the subscription. The following steps walk you through how to make the subscription be inactive. From the Reports page, select the Subscriptions tab. On the Subscriptions tab, check the box for the subscription you want to inactivate on the left toolbar.

Click the Edit button and on the overview tab of the resulting Edit subscription window, check the box for Inactivate this subscription then click Save.
