Video - InEight Schedule - Manage Review Cycle

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to InEight schedule. This video demonstrates how to start and manage the markup review cycle. The markup review cycle will notify the markup users that you have assigned by email that you are asking for their contribution to the markup process. You can start the review cycle by selecting manage review cycle in the iris panel delegation section, or here on the project menu.

In the team member markup, you'll see a list of all the project stakeholders you have invited to the markup process. By default, all the contributors can only see the provided markup on the section of the schedule that you assign them to. If you would like a contributor to see the whole project schedule, but only provide markup to the sections that they assigned to select show whole project. By default, users cannot see the cost associated with the schedule WBS elements.

You can optionally include cost in the markup for users by selecting the show cost option, the register threshold is set to plus or minus 50% by default. If a user's markup is more or less than 50% of the original duration, then schedule will require the user to provide a project register item for justification. You can optionally change this threshold to lower the percentage threshold. You can also optionally provide a message for the markup contributors, providing them with some instruction for the review cycle.

Click start review cycle to initiate the review. Schedule will send each user an email from the person that initiated the review cycle with a link to the scheduled project to start their review. As the team members are providing their input, you can see their progress and the last time they access the project in the manage review cycle view. Once the review cycle is over, select end review cycle to lock the markup from further contributions.

Well, that's how to start and manage the markup review cycle. Thanks for watching.
