Video - InEight Schedule - Markup

TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to InEight Schedule.

This video demonstrates how to provide feedback on the project plan through the

schedule markup process.

As part of the markup process will validate the activity durations, logic

timeline,

and have a chance to identify project register events like risks,

opportunities, and issues. To get started,

expand the work breakdown to see its details by clicking here

in the markup scorecard. You can give quick feedback on the durations.

You can select the summary level for the whole section.

Then on an exception schedule, you can indicate if you think more

or less time as needed.

To help justify your feedback you can optionally identify project register items

like risks, opportunities, or issues. Select the sticky note here.

Schedule makes suggestions of various register items that you can adopt based on

the section of the project you selected.

You can select a register item from the list.

You can also get suggestions from the register events defined in the project

or in the knowledge library

When you add a register event default information like risk scoring is

adopted. You can change this as you see fit.

You don't need to select from the schedule suggestions though.

You can input a register item directly to add your feedback.

Click here to add the event.

You can also view the project events that have been assigned to the project by

the planner.

If you want to simplify the screen, you can hide the Gantt chart at any time.

As you add your feedback schedule lets you know your progress.

When you are done providing feedback, click ready for review.

This will let the project planners know you are done.

Watch the advanced markup video for additional tips on markup.

Well, that's how to provide feedback on the project plan through the schedule markup
